Are you a mom feeling this urge to completely pivot your whole career plan to be a work at home mom? It feels like a crazy idea but at the same time, you desperately want to do it.
But how? And should you really make that kind of a bold move?
I mean, what would people think after you’ve worked so hard on your career?
I’m here to tell you that while yes, it’s a little bit crazy, it’s also one of the best things you’ll ever do.
This urge to quit your job and be home with your kids isn’t random. God is putting that on your heart and calling you to pivot.
And He doesn’t always ask us to pivot in a logical way that has a clear path.
In fact, most of the time it isn’t like that at all.
In this episode, I’m going to share some about my story and how I went from getting my Ph.D. in cancer biology to quitting my job to be home with my son. It wasn’t an easy transition, but I figured it out. I’ll talk about the fears and obstacles I had to overcome to make it happen including getting past the shame and guilt of what others might think.
Episode Highlights:
- Welcome to the Mama with a Calling podcast
- How this podcast is going to help you
